The Fairy's Song

All the day long
The fairy sings
Her song,
And in the night
Her tune is pure
Delight.

When she feels glum
And music just
Won't come,
She gives a sigh
As the long hours
Roll by.

Let's raise the tune
And she will join
Us soon;
To fill her heart
She only needs
A start.

Her voice will lift
And out will come
Her gift:
The melody
That fills our hearts
With glee.
